Austin Film Society presents showing of documentary on the 23rd Street Mural - Thursday September 10, 2026:
"The 23rd Street Mural Project turns Austin’s first mural into a living documentary archive. Visitors can explore the wall online and discover short original films about the characters, venues, musicians, and wild stories — some of which may actually be true — that helped shape the soul of the city. It’s a way of preserving Austin history while connecting the dots between the Austin of the ’70s and the city we live in today."
